Read all about it as News apps arrive
In the news category of the App Store, news readers such as Pulse, Flipboard, and SkyGrid occupy five of the top 10 positions. Both Pulse and Flipboard say they have at least 500,000 users, while SkyGrid said it's poised to pass 1 million during the first quarter of 2011. These apps' makers say news readers provide a way to keep newspaper and magazine content relevant in a mobile age and provide a new source of revenue by driving traffic back to Web sites. You can read all about it by checking out this story from The Wall Street Journal's Digital Network.
